The implant consists of a metal post that is implanted into the jawbone where it acts as an artificial root.

In implant supported bridges and dentures, the post serves as an anchor to keep the denture or bridge securely in place. Our Implant Surgery Procedure

We begin with local anesthesia to numb the nerves surrounding the dental implant area. You will not feel any pain during your implant procedure, only pressure at times, but it should not cause you discomfort.
We will make an incision in the gum to expose the bone where the implant will be placed.
A hole is drilled into the bone where the dental titanium implant post will be placed.
Since the post will serve as the tooth root, the post will be implanted deep into the bone.

When can I get the crown put on my implant?

Your gum will need time for the implant to fuse (osseointegrate) with the jawbone, before fitting permanent, replacement teeth; therefore six months is the best amount of time to heal.

Is the implant procedure panful?

During the procedure, the area will be fully numb and you shouldn't feel any pain during dental implants, nor should you experience discomfort throughout recovery, however Tylenol or Ibuprofen should help any pain from the area due to sutures.

Searching for on-going dental services that were reasonable in cost and excellent in services. I received both!! I have had several crowns and a couple of implants. Could not be happier with Dr. Dennis's work. I drove by car to the border, parked in the secure, fenced lot at the Quechan Indian Casino for $6, and walked across. Dr. Dennis is meticulous and will not let you out of the chair until everything is PERFECT and you are happy. I am happy!! Exceptional. She is knowledgeable, caring, and gentle.
